Its cavernous design gives you far more useable space. In fact, roto-molded coolers with comparable exterior dimensions have an interior capacity of about 72 cans. The rugged road website was well set up, the shipping was fast and the cooler is awesome. Super light, exactly what I wanted. Only thing I would change is... the silicon (or whatever it is) packet that comes in the cooler... it stunk so bad that I could smell it while the cooler was still in the box. It smells like a Asian lady bug when you smash it with your fingers. The cooler is currently airing out, outside. So... please change that

Just back from an elk hunt in Colorado. Tagged a nice bull. Processed meat stayed frozen in my rugged road 85! Outfitter said we would need 3)8 lb blocks of dry ice for the 3 days return. Put 1 block in and 3 days later 100% hard frozen! Photo is a favorite. Red wine, red meat and a rugged road 85. Essentials of a good life

I have the 85QT. I was very hesitant to spend that kind of money on a damn cooler, but now that Ive used it several times, I'm glad I pulled the trigger. Went on a 7 day family vaca, Filled the cooler with block ice, food, drinks, etc. I still had plenty of ice on day SEVEN! Actually threw ice away when we got home and unpacked. I'd recommend this brand to anyone.

I was a bit gun shy of the cooler because of the price initially. I finally gave it a try. It’s the best cooler we have ever had for boating. It keeps ice great, floats upright and the lid being easy to remove and reverse is awesome. We liked it so much we bought another one that was the biggest cooler they offer and love it just as much!

I love the lightweightness of this cooler. It actually floats upright full of cans and ice. If you have a lot of water in it it will float a little tilted but let some water out and you are good. I used it at the lake in 100+ temps and it held ice just as well if not better than them other high dollar coolers! I’ll buy more if I ever need them!!
