Finally a cooler with the performance of a Yeti at a fraction of the empty weight, which means it will actually be used. I have a Yeti that sits in the garage cause it is too heavy empty much less loaded. The Rugged Road goes everywhere, including the cockpit of an offshore fishing boat ie constant direct sunshine, salt water spray and getting knocked around off and on on long fishing days and so far still looks new.

These coolers are great. 5 stars all around! We already had 2 65 V2’s when we decided to add the 85 V2. Everything Rugged Road says about their coolers is correct. They’re much lighter than competitors but keep ice just as good. The double handle system and lid locking/closing lever are so easy to use even as we age. The cooler and all accessories are very well thought out. Keep up the good work!

Very pleased with item. The only thing I don’t like is the way the lid separates from the hinges. I would really prefer if they permanently fixed the lid to the hinges. I can’t ever think of a reason I would want the lid to separate so I used adhesive to permanently fix my lid to the hinges.

The cooler is sweet I love how light it is even with 85 beers and ice. BUTTTTTTTTTTTTT mine for sure does not float perfectly upright. It floats well enough but not like the pictures atleast mine doesnt. I am not complaining just being honest.
