This is my first - and probably last - high performance cooler. Last, because it is as durable as advertised, it is easy to handle, has good interior organization, and insulates very well. We just took it out for it's first 3-day weekend. Admittedly it was not hot at 5,000' but I used a single block of ice, plus some cubes for drinks, and even when we got home everything inside was ice cold. We didn't even have it packed full; there was a fair amount of air space in it which usually leads to melting. So yes, this is worth the $$.

Love the cooler. Comparable to the Yeti 45 but the weight is so much less. We store gear in the basement and the stairs are narrow. Carrying this cooler down is so much easier than carrying the Yeti down.

It’s light and roomy and I LOVE the snack tray. The only thing I don’t like is that the foam outside the cooler gets hot super fast if the sunshine hits it at all. Keep it in the shade and it’s good. It might be the dark blue color I chose, but I am impressed overall and have recommended the cooler to others.
