Shipping companies will occasionally mark a package as delivered up to 24 hours before it actually arrives at your doorstep. If you have received a delivery confirmation email and your package has not arrived 24 hours after the email was received, please reach out to the shipping company for more information.

Under all circumstances, the mail carrier is responsible for all mail pieces that undergo delivery services. If your package has not been delivered, please contact us and we will do our best to help you find your missing package.

We currently ship to the US and Canada. As we continue to grow, we hope to expand our shipping capabilities.

Sometimes items will be separated in transit. To check on your items, please refer to the tracking information for your items, which can be found in your shipment confirmation email.

Please double check all information prior to completing checkout. Our warehouse team works hard to ship out orders as quickly as possible, meaning we cannot guarantee that we will be able to update your shipping information before your package heads out the door. If you catch it immediately upon placing your order, please email us at info@ruggedroadoutdoors.com as soon as possible and we will do our best to fix this for you.

Orders received before 4 PM EST are shipped the same day, Monday through Friday. Weekend orders are shipped the next business day. The average transit time is two business days.

Here are a few key things to remember about our warranty:

• Your cooler must be registered within 45 days of purchase to qualify for warranty at any point
• Warranty only applies to the original owner
• Warranty is void if the cooler is used commercially, structurally altered, damaged as a result of abnormal use, or subjected to stress beyond the normal physical limits of the materials used in the body or components
• Normal wear and tear is not warrantied
• Warranty does not include any manufacturer responsibility for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of the cooler

Rugged Road coolers stands out with their combination of ultralight weight, durable Patented Titan Shell construction, superior ice retention, and “Heads-Up” Floatability™. These features ensure top performance and reliability in any outdoor setting.

Our coolers are coated in a custom polyurea spray formula, which we have named Rigorite. This spray was originally developed for many military applications such as coating the bottoms of Humvees to protect them from explosvies, as well as in water treatment pipes.

Dry ice can be used in our Rugged Road hard-sided coolers! We recommend placing a piece of cardboard below the dry ice, although this is not necessary.

Our coolers will hold stickers, but not as well as some of the others. Because our coating has a bit more texture to it, stickers don't always...well...stick.

1. START COLD TO STAY COLD
The colder your cooler starts, the longer it will retain ice and keep the contents cold. If possible, store your cooler in a cold place hours before you plan to use it. Also, consider pre-cooling the interior of your cooler by filling it with a bag of ice the night before you plan to use it.

2. AIR IS THE ENEMY
Large air pockets within your cooler will only accelerate the rate at which the ice will melt. Reduce air space by adding ice or using a towel to fill the space.

3. KEEP OPENINGS TO A MINIMUM
Every time you open your cooler, you let cold air out and warm air in, which will cause the ice to melt faster. Try to minimize how often you open the cooler.

4. AVOID DIRECT SUNLIGHT
Do your best to keep your cooler out of direct sunlight. If there is no shade available, consider covering the cooler with a blanket or towel.

5. DON’T DRAIN THE WATER
Once your ice begins to melt, the remaining water will be very cold and will help to keep the contents chilled. However, food such as meat can and will grow bacteria if it becomes wet. Be sure to keep food safety in mind when using your cooler.

6. USE COLD ICE
Not all ice is created equal. Cube and shaved ice melt quickly while block ice or dry ice will last longer. Also, buy ice that is obviously cold (hard and dry) as opposed to warm ice which will be wet and won’t last as long.

Because we devloped and patented our own manufacturing process, we had to get creative to name/measure our coolers in a way that would be both accurate and easily understood. Our coolers have much thinner walls than those found in a rotomolded cooler (but don't worry, they're equally insulated!). Because of this, the exterior footprint may appear smaller to a comparable rotomodled cooler, but the interior capacity will hold nearly  the same number of cans.

To clean your Rugged Road cooler, simply rinse it with fresh water and use a mild soap solution to wipe down the interior and exterior. Allow it to air dry completely before storing.
