Best ice

I placed two Rugged Ice packs in my Rugged Road 65 cooler, planning to add more ice when we arrived at camp. Surprisingly, I never needed to add any! The Rugged Ice packs kept everything so cold that the filets I packed directly on top of them actually froze within a few hours. After three days of frequent cooler use and with daily temperatures between 60-70°F, everything inside was still cold. I’m so impressed with Rugged Ice that I’m here to buy another one, so I can have two for each of my Rugged Road coolers. I've tried many different ice packs, but none have performed as well as these. Rugged Ice is a game-changer!

Seriously, these things are extremely cold and long lasting. I pre-chilled my cooler overnight and then put four of these into my RR65. It froze everything I had in it, food and liquids! I may need to put some ice in it as a barrier but I was hoping to avoid the extra weight. After 4 days at the huntcamp, the ice packs still had frost on them, and were 1/2 solid and 1/2 slush. Very happy with that. I still think this was worth the purchase, once I figure out how to keep my stuff from freezing, lol. I think this may be a good problem to have though? This review was based on this winter's conditions of 30s/40s at night and 60s during the day.
