Almost perfect….
This is a great first try at a smaller ice chest but a single step was skipped that would’ve made it perfect. I love the quality of the handle, hinges and hardware used. Cooler keeps ice for a pretty good amount of time. Only issue I have is that two hinges were not used like the larger one. When the lid is raised it pivots and moves around and comes off too easy. If two hinges would’ve been used it would’ve fixed all of that. Please update with two hinges.

Best cooler!
I have a 65 quart yeti that I rarely use due to the bulkyness and weight. This is a 65 can and I use it all the time. Keep in mind they measure with how many cans it can hold and not how many quarts it is. Just something to keep in mind when you purchasing one of these. I like everything about the cooler!

Holds Up Well In TX Heat!
Took the gang camping , the whole Rugged Road line up except the RR45 and the new TARDIGRADE. The RR85 was full of frozen food and some premade slushies with 1 bag of ice. 6 hours on the road in the July Texas heat. When we unloaded it everything was still frozen including the ice! Only a few drops of water in the bottom! But the star of the show was the RR25. Did its job on the river keeping our drinks and snacks cold! Also worked great floating between my wife and I and made a great river side table! Loving the weight and performance of all I have!

The RR25 is our second cooler, we also have the RR65 that we purchased last year before our trip to Moab Utah. That cooler did amazing in the Moab heat! Now we will be recommending Rugged Road based on quality and customer service both!

Love the concept and weight
So far so good. Run a landscaping business and use this daily. The ice melts faster than advertised. Really doesn’t hold up 7 days in my trailer or cab of my truck but does make it through a day or two. My lid/latch doesn’t seem as snug as I’d like it to be but maybe that is a preference and maybe due to the kickflip lid. The strap I bought as an extra is annoying as all get out. Convenient but dang it comes unsnapped every time I go to grab my cooler. Need to tape the clips. Now when using two ice packs from rugged with this cooler it’ll freeze my drinks to slush. That I do like! So I’m torn on this review thus the 3 stars.

Our coolers are capable of holding ice for multiple days at a time, often out performing the (heavy) competition.
